Pelvic Vein and Varicocele Embolisation

In chronic pelvic pain, if dilation of the pelvic veins and reflux are consistent with the clinical signs, venous embolisation may be discussed after other causes have been excluded. Suitability for embolisation in varicocele is assessed by a urologist and an interventional radiologist based on Doppler findings, symptoms and reproductive parameters.
