İlyas Həsənov
Ilyas Hasanov graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University in 2004. From 2004 to 2008 he completed residency in radiology and X-ray endovascular surgery at the Central Research Institute of X-ray Radiology in Saint Petersburg.
He received advanced training in interventional radiology in Hamburg (Asklepios Klinik Altona), Istanbul (Başkent University, Medical Park) and Ferrara, Italy. In 2010 he earned a PhD in Medical Sciences with a dissertation on the interventional treatment of metastatic liver tumors.
Since 2009 he has worked as an interventional radiologist at the Central Customs Hospital, Avrasiya, Medistyle, Ganja International Hospital, Olimp and Zəfəran hospitals, holding leadership positions. He is currently the Director of the Invasive Heart and Vascular Center at the AMU Teaching Therapeutic Clinic.
