TEVAR — Endovascular Repair of the Thoracic Aorta
An aortic aneurysm located in the chest and other aortic conditions are treated from inside the vessel with a stent graft. The stent graft is delivered by catheter from a groin artery to the thoracic aorta, expanded in the diseased segment under angiographic guidance and redirects blood flow along a new channel. There is no need to open the chest.
- Thoracic aortic aneurysm
- Type B aortic dissection and other aortic conditions
- The treatment strategy is determined by the vascular team based on CT angiography
