Sclerotherapy

A non-surgical treatment used for capillary veins (telangiectasia) and medium-diameter varicose veins. A sclerosing agent (liquid or foam) is injected into the affected vein with a fine needle; the vein closes and over time is absorbed and becomes invisible.
